Delivery

Please see the show timetable for access dates & times.

The Event Delivery System will apply to all vehicles. Remember to book in advance before you start your journey and print your pass at work or home.

  • You must book your vehicle in if you are an exhibitor or contractor (including all official contractors) arriving at the NEC to deliver, offload/load during the build period and open period

  • Official courier vehicles will remain exempt

  • High visibility clothing must be worn at all times in the offloading area

  • There’s a speed limit of 15mph within the inner area (this is the space once you have passed through the security Gates)

  • Once you have off-loaded, please remember to remove your vehicle from the inner area and park in our car parks as indicated by traffic.

Advance bookings are required for all events during build up period and for restocking or deliveries during the open period. Please click here for further information for the user guide to help you set up your account and book your vehicles.

On arrival to site, all vehicles should report to the designated lorry park for the show. From here you will be directed down to the rear of the relevant hall & vehicle entry door when space becomes available.

You must display your vehicle pass, issued at the lorry park, at all times. Please make sure that this is fully completed.

Please ensure that you & your contractors are aware of your stand number and approximate location. You will be parked as close to your stand location as possible. Make sure you unload as quickly as possible. The NEC do not provide a trolley service so make sure you are prepared.

No unauthorised vehicles are allowed at the rear of the halls during show open and all hatched markings around the doors must be kept clear at all times.

Please note that there is no difference to the breakdown process and there is no requirement to use the NEC Event Delivery System for the breakdown.

Your printed pass will need to be displayed on your dashboard to allow you through the security gate into the inner area and left visible for the duration of your stay. Without this you will incur delays.

Please book in here.

There may be a delay moving from the lorry park to your hall as unloading is on a first come first serve basis. We always do our best to keep delays to a minimum. If you are delayed, don’t worry, your time won’t start until you leave the lorry park.

  • Cars and vehicles up to two tons will be allowed one hour from the time of entry.

  • Vehicles over two tons will be allowed two hours.

  • Articulated vehicles will be allowed three hours.

Once you have unloaded, please take your vehicle back to the free outer area car park, to make space for other exhibitors. Failure to remove your vehicle in the allotted time to the outer car parks may incur a penalty charge.

Deposit System

Keeping traffic flowing on the busiest event build up days is one of our biggest challenges, which is why on Wednesday 20th November we will operate a deposit system to keep things moving along. Please be aware that only advance online bookings are accepted – no cash on the day.

When the deposit system is in use, you still need to book all deliveries as outlined above using the online booking system. The difference on a deposit system day, is that failure to remove your vehicle from the inner area unloading areas within the allocated delivery time, will result in a £100 charge. The charge is only levied if you overstay.

Finally, if you plan on staying at the National Exhibition Centre for the whole day once you have unloaded, please park your vehicle in the nominated outer area car parks.

Exhibitors are advised that the delivery time will commence via ANPR on entry to the inner area.

Should a driver find that they are unable to make the delivery within the specified time, and through no fault of their own, they should inform The NEC Security Staff within the Hall, who in turn will contact the Traffic Supervisor.

Our Event Delivery/Voyage Control System does not apply for the show breakdown procedure.

No vehicles will be allowed access through the control points after 08.15 on the show open days.

Deliveries must be completed 45 minutes before the Show opens each day.

The Organisers, whilst providing general security, cannot take responsibility for exhibitors' possessions and valuable items that can be easily  removed. You are advised your stand should not be left unattended at any time.

The delivery address is:

Exhibitor Stand Name, Contact Name, and mobile number
